does anyone recommend a product to waterproof the floor or part of the walls of the coop?

I think this was the stuff I saw on TV. I think I was watching this old house. Thanks!

Our closest roost to the wall is 2ft away and we have a huge bin filled with sand & DE to catch their droppings. I think the bin is used to mix concrete, it was in the garden section of Home Depot?
Though the walls are painted with 2 coats of gloss exterior paint and a primer, the walls do not get dirty.
The floor is covered with linoleum over plywood, with wood shavings on top of the linoleum - but that doesn't get dirty either. The droppings just are in the bin.
I have photos on my page of the roost/tray set-up.

I bought a piece of epdm rubber, same stuff people use as a pond liner. Cut it to size and just pull it out a few times a year and hose it off. On the walls I used a semi gloss white exterior paint (2 coats), wipes off decent but chickens can fling crap in places you never thought possible.

I was just thinking about this last night...
I want to keep my chickens in as healthy environment as possible so I was thinking tung oil might be really good for the inside of the coop. It is easy to work with as well. I used it on my indoor window sills and a banister in the house.
The folks at Real Milk Paint could probably help you.(if no chemical stuff is important to you)

Help. My husband went to Lowes to purchase Blackjack #57 and they don't have it. Looks like Henry's is replacing it. My question is what to look for as far as what it contains as to not harm the chickens. Any thoughts? I have even attempted to look it up online and can't find it to view what it is made of. Thanks in advance.

I found Henry's at Home Depot. The only Blackjack 57 I found is that 5 gal bucket at Lowe's. No one was familiar with any of it there. I would still get the blackjack 57, but I am really concerned about the mixed reviews I have found online. Is anyone familiar with the white elastomeric? Can Lowes actually mix the 5 gal buckets in their paint mixers? I could use some advice.

I went back to Lowes and returned the white elastomeric. The 5 gal buckets of the Blackjack 57 are $47 around here. The paint department confirmed that they can mix 5 gallon containers, too. The container says it needs to be 70 degrees and we just hit 40s, Ugh. So I suppose I have to wait. Eager to get this done while I can .
