Isopopanol is simply the active ingredient in isopropol alcohol. It does kill yeast and prevent regrowth.

I use alcohol-vinegar-water-equal parts of each. I raise Westies and use this all the time

Nolvasan is good for maintaining clean ears (which is important for dogs with chronic ear problems) but will do nothing to clear up an infection.

I've had hound mixes forever and we use half white vinegar and water about once a month and it works great.
