Dog thread!🐾

Somewhat of the same thing. Just perfomance dogs excel in obedience and agility. Wheras field dogs excel in agility and field work In my opinion have less prey drive. Ill list a breeder in a bit to show a difference between field vs performance looks.
I see, that's cool, so they are pretty similar just differ in what they are best at?

Alright so using Tobrass as a example(although i think they are done breeding)

BOOMER is more of a performance still longer legs darker coat

Wheras Tuck looks just like Tucker thiner body thiner build.

Just click on the k9 data to see a better picture.
Hawk's eyes are a little scary😂 Very pretty though

Has anybody else played with laser with their dog? Chase loves it, it’s hilarious. Sometimes when it’s almost dark and easy to see the laser I’ll go out and have him run laps chasing it🤣🤣

Some people say it's cruel and can cause issues with dogs reacting to shadows. We have always played with a laser light here. Not all my dogs chase it, but those that do love it. I find having certain parameters makes all the difference. We mostly play while I vacuum, and at a few other times. They know where the light comes from, and know when the game ends. I personally haven't had any problems.

When the boxer was younger we would play outside at night and she could run full out after it. Now it's a prance across the kitchen floor for the old lady. Two of my bulldog mixes love to play, and the other two could care less. The Aussie also isn't interested and prefers her tennis balls.
