Since I'm trying to get her to eat more I'm adding kibble with her cooked in the morning as well. So far it's been working. Yesterday I spotted some pork necks that had lots of extra meat on the bone so I'll be slicing that up soon...always on the lookout for low priced meat lol

I didnt realize you had quail or maybe i just forgot.

Do they lay better than chickens?

One egg every 2 weeks isnt going to cut it. I know its the light and cold but 9 hens and the 3 year old dont lay more than 2 eggs a week in spring summer and fall.
