Dominique Thread!

I lost during the nighttime.
In New Hampshire as livestock owners we are allowed to dispatch any predator that destroys or kills our livestock. And in NH it is illegal to relocate coons because there are so many of them. I borrowed my friend’s coon trap and trapped four coons and like I said can’t relocate them, so dispatching them was the only way. But on the bright side my friend was able to skin em and sell the pelts. So the coons didn’t go to waste.

Here’s an update on my little pullet Marzo. She’s 19 weeks today, and in that adorable phase where she makes those sweet soft squeaky sounds. She’s just as happy to snuggle in my lap as my Dominique hen, Juin. I just wish they’d be friends, but I’ll give it time. They were both egg-songing together the other day, which is encouraging. I’d only ever heard Juin sing once before, and Marzo never. It was super cute!

That is great that your friend could sell the pelts!

Nice!
