Early bumble foot or just a minor injury?

Hello all! I have a hen with two foot pads that have a small pin needle size irritation on each foot. She was egg bound and during her Epson salt bath, I noticed these after cleaning her up. I have treated the feet as if it is bumble foot by disinfecting and wrapping with an antibiotic honey ointment for a couple of days while she recovered from the egg ordeal. She is doing great and I plan to release her to her friends today. She is not in distress or showing any bumble foot signs, but after the egg binding, I am thoroughly paranoid for all issues. Ignore the slightly dirty toes, she wasn't too happy when I started trying to scrub her feet thoroughly after her vent inspection. Each little sore is right smack in the middle of her pad, the rest is her coloring and a little yellow poo. Thanks!

Feel the spots and see if there's something hard there, or that the area feels warmer there than the rest of her foot. If so, I'd get some PRID or drawing cream and use that to bring it to a head and then it can either come out on it's own or makes it easier for you to do it.

If not, then I'd check her weekly or so just to see if it's still there or getting larger.

Thank you for the reply. I will continue to monitor her feet. I ordered some drawing salve, I should have it in my chicken-aid box anyway. I know they are resilient creatures, but mine might be a little too spoiled!

Many use Betadine or Equate First Aid Solution (Walmart) mixed with sugar into a paste which is known as Sugardine. Mix some in a clean container. Apply it to a 2x2 gauze pad, and apply vet wrap strips to hold it on the foot. Change it daily. This works quite well to treat cuts or small bumblefoot infections. Here is a video on applying a bumble foot dressing with antibiotic ointment that can be switched to sugardine:

Good news, I have been monitoring her feet since posting this. Either I caught it in time or it was not bumble foot. Thanks everyone for your help.
