My DH was out of state visiting his DS for TG day so I stayed home to manage yard remodeling and to tend our chickens. Cooking a turkey dinner was pointless just for myself so my son came by for a visit and we had ground turkey tacos instead!

Just saw this! Got on to post that my girl Biscuit laid out first ever egg! Beautiful green! I'm going to go out and get a picture of her too to celebrate her first egg!

Thank you! I think she's looking particularly grouchy in that picture. Haha She laid a second egg for us today!!! She holed up in a nest she made herself in some drainage rocks. I went out and moved her to the coop since she hadn't laid yet. She didn't fit in the bucket box I made, so she just walked out of it. But left behind a beautiful green egg! She sang and sang and then went out to range like nothing happened.

My 2 10 week old Easter eggers (Myrtle and Tinkerbell) moved to the coop 2 weeks ago. They seem to be adjusting find but they both have bald spots on their backs! I am very confused by this because none of my other chickens have it and they are all the same age (my others are BOs silkies and a cuckoo maran). I don't think they are being picked on because they seem like the head chickens. Any thoughts?
