No offense meant, but your memory may be selective.
I believe any bird decapitated while is going to at least drip blood and 'death throes' are pretty much inevitable. Wonders if she discreetly broke their necks before hanging them up?

There's a bolt gun called "The Ballista" which should work well with poultry. It's pretty inexpensive ($65)

Can I just bump this so others will know how to do 'what needs to be done'

It's been about 20 years since I've had to do it and the 1st time was not pretty.
Will be doing the broomstick method..... and even though it has to be done I will still ball my eyes out. I'm at least going to wait and do it at like 9pm so she will be sleepy
