Early Christmas presents to yourself are the best...lol. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

This is what I ordered My wife was going to get me a nice Camera bag for Christmas and a lens that would have been a whole lot more expensive than this. I already have a 55-250mm satabilizer lens that I can use with the Marco lens. I also have the 18-55mm lens the camera came with to get close up to the subjects. The tripod - I'd only use it for videos since I am TERRIBLE at them. lol

I'm interested in the filters. Also ordered:

I have issues with the sun so maybe this will help. If not, it was only $3 so no big deal.

I have only been really into taking photos the past 3 years, so I am still new. I realize the lens was quite cheap, but I loved the photos taken with it by.. I forgot who mentioned it, please forgive me. :S Anyway..

Everytime I see that chickens in the snow, I think of WW2 . It's strange , I see " chickens in the trenches ". Classic shot!
