@Sylvester017 I have grossly oversized tonsils so even the slightest irritation and it affects my ability to swallow. I should have had them out as a kid but my family couldn't afford it. If this round of meds doesn't clear it the doctor says I might get them out.

As for the neighbors flock, I haven't seen the birds out and about, but they might have just stopped free ranging. I hear a few roosters around us during the day so I think only my flock was lost.

This is a "joy for all companion pet for seniors" so it's like a fancier furreal kitty! Gramma got it for therapy with her dementia, but she didn't want to have her at her new care home for some reason.

Sorry you are not feeling well, gosh I will never take my access to stuff for granted ever again

Now as for you tonsils right now, have they become worse since you had your wee one? Children are a factory of germs! It wasn’t until my sister and cousins kids got around 12 yrs old (and had better hygiene ie not picking nose etc) that I stopped getting sick every week! Everything they got I got!

My DD is top sales w/ a distributor of specialty clothing, household, yard, personal, animal novelties, & she's been stressing to marketers to come up w/ more chicken breeds & more hens than roos in their decor since backyard chickens is a growing trend. They finally listened to her!

I miss my girl Bernie. She was such a character.

The Welbar was developed in the UK in the early 1940s. They are an auto-sexing breed. They are a breed not a hybrid meaning they breed true (Welbar x Welbar = Welbar), and recognized at least in the UK (not sure about the US).
They lay dark brown eggs with speckles.

Beautiful! I would've preferred a Welsummer or Welbar for dark speckled eggs over the snotty Marans pullet we had! The Marans was always fighting w/the alpha Leghorn & vicious to Silkies Violet & Mini so we re-homed the Marans back to the neighbor who gave her to us. She behaved herself in the neighbor's flock ~ maybe she was glad to be w/pullets she knew again?

Marans egg was sometimes speckled too & more rounded than pointed like the big white Leghorn egg is next to the Marans egg

@Ponypoor yeah I noticed whenever I visit family with kids, I feel sicker for a while.

I am supposed to clean the coops today. Hubby is insisting I get them scooped out and sanitized so they'll be ready for chickens. But it's raining! It was supposed to be dry today haha.

So I have just noticed that the yellow legs on Twister have changed to silver with pink feet! What gives?
