Chicken math is very complicated!!!

I had 3, then it jumped to 13 and somehow I am now at 45! Mostly due to some serious enablers who shall remain unnamed right @RebeccaBoyd?

It’s crazy here - people want chickens, and especially the exotic ones and coloured egg layers. One just cannot fine silkie hens at all. And blue and green egg layers are very popular.

I really should sell pullets (if I knew how to sex pullets), blue egg green egg pullets would be a nice sum!

I always keep rooster Booster vitamins & electrolytes on hand.
I just put it in their water. I am ordering , Rooster Booster Poultry Cell, 32-Ounce. I have had it in the past and for some reason stopped getting it.
This is what is in it,

and heres why I am getting it. The hens went through a hard molt over winter. their feathers took a long time to come back. when they did they looked great but now, they all look like this.




I have done the mite and lice work and they all have had good baths so that is covered. I feed then Scratch & Peck Layer Pellets. I like it because it is truly Organic, and USA sourced and is not made with canola or soybean oil.- BUT I think it is lacking in enough nutrients.


So, I will keep ya posted if i see any change.
