After all that, do you think the Maple Leafs will ever win? :lau
Oilers won over Panthers last night

Well I have a bunch of grumpy creatures here this morning. First Truly and Lulu didnā€™t want to go outside, they hate the bugs and mosquitoes, and the heat and humidity.

Then the silkies were all grumpy and squabbling. Sheesh! I have Curly and her chicks, and Henny in the summer house, Marty didnā€™t want to go in there so I left her out with the gang in the main barn.

And this school chicks are breaking feee now, except the poor silkies - awwww!

Xzit is going to give me a heart attack! Sheā€™s a stubborn broody, but I say enough is enough!
I canā€™t leave her alone in the house. I canā€™t leave her in the coop without the cooler running.
:old :idunno
And she screams at me if I stop rubbing her belly :th

When Widget goes broody, I set up a broody breaker crate. It's a small dog crate up on 2x4s so that she gets air circulation underneath her belly.

She has food, water, and a 2x4 to stand on. It usually takes 2-3 days for her to "get over it."
I was happy to see Whiskers ā€˜voluntarilyā€™ get off her nest this morning.

Then noted she had returned to the nest the brat! Over 5 weeks now.

And Dorothy is still broody - those two are brats. The silkies go broody? Nope only Curly.

Five weeks? FIVE weeks? :barnie
