Big beautiful Nocturne is in the house for her pedicure. She is appreciating the warm epsom salt footbath and the wormy treats!

I’m training my big rooster buddy to be an emotional support rooster.
COOL!!! Wonder what the annual ESA license cost per animal is in California? It's around $400+ per animal in Florida w/ a limit of 2 animals per year. Our Fla friends have a pet stroller for their 2 ESA pups but they acquired a 3rd dog this year & they can't get a ESA for it ☹️.

Put those license fees in the deep well, where they threw all those ballots into in Florida.
No one will give a rooster that status, even Sir Jaffar didn’t qualify for it. And that saddens me.

It's amazing how much they calmly enjoy the warm foot soaks! Nocturne is a beautiful Cemani hen!
She is a big marshmallow!
I wish I knew what her cross is, ayam cemani plus something else. She lays a tan egg and she's a big girl!
Her foot injury looked clean under the scab so I will let it heal for now and we'll see if it needs treatment again in the future.

I hear hubby outside getting the new chicken coop in place. I'd best call him in to eat before he gets much further.

The bumble black scab has not come off yet? I've soaked & ointment vetwrapped daily till the bumble scab comes off, then soak & wrap for a few more days for the healing scab to form till that scab comes off too. Leaving a small bumble can eventually form larger. But I suppose we all treat bumble differently? Maybe I'm overly solicitous but I like to totally remove an easy bumble early.
