Introducing: Butterbird and PEANUTbutterbird. Yes my toddler named her. She also said to share Shiba-san because she's the same color.

Peanutbutterbird has black on her tail and is lighter all over.

Shiba-san is still very small and cute

Butterbird is darker orange with no black tail

My three orange birds

Butterbird is slightly larger than Peanutbutterbird but her comb/wattles are not as red.

The chooks are all using the Playground. They are also using the top level I just haven’t gotten any pictures yet

Bab and Butterbird

Nyx reminds me of an adorable bantam EE plus the black makes her look like a rarer all-black EE. I know she has immediate different breed history but can't help what she reminds me of ~ a bantam EE.

Bab has a beautiful crest & Butterbird looks just as creamy as butter w/ those soft pastel shades in her face!

Yes they're all precious! Nyx is cochinXsilkie but those chipmunk cheeks really do look EE. Bab is somehow both regal and goofy.
And the butterbirds are soft as butter!

Now that's what I'm talking about! ~ Peanutbutterbird ~ kids come up w/ the cutest names! Reminds me of another kid who named a hen "George" ~ but I happen to love the name George anyway!

They are both brats. Clyde esp is a brat, fighting and carousing about….
