French Wheaten Maran laying age?

@yellowsunshine At what month did your aracauna start laying? And what color are her eggs? I have 2 pekins (laying), a barred rock, aracauna and a black leghorn. The last 3 girls are all 10 weeks old. Thanks.

Apologies for the late reply @myguy77 I believe she was close too 20 weeks - not very old at all.. She beat my Isa & perkin bantam - her eggs are light blue - ill see if I can attach a pic - and seem too get more blue / more white depending on where her cycle is.. I'm getting an average of 6 eggs a week from her

Most chickens, including Marans, beginning laying at 5-6 months of age.

Still haven't had any eggs from our aracauna yet. She is still squatting and seems to be pacing around the run at times.
Also, just wondering how your comb looks on your girl. Our Pixie's comb isn't very red. More pink and it's not very large.
