Gold Laced Splash Orpington

I’m in love with Gold Laced Splash Orpingtons. I don’t know what genetics are involved & would love some clarification on that & what I should expect of their offspring.
Am I looking at a buff bird with different genes overlaid?
Do they breed true?

Please correct me if I'm wrong
But if you breed a gold laced splash rooster with a gold laced splash hen the offspring will be gold laced splash.
You can also breed other gold laced (blue and black) orpingtons with them because there is a gene that diluites the black color, in blue if heterozygous and splash if homozygous. So:
GL splash x GL splash = 100% GL splash
GL blue x GL blue = 25% GL black, 25% GL splash, 50% GL blue
GL blue x GL splash = 50% GL blue, 50% GL splash
GL splash x GL black = 100% GL blue
GL black x GL blue = 50% GL blue, 50% GL black
GL black x GL black = 100% GL black

Is lace like mottled? For instance

I had a place I was going to order from but shipping was +$100 so that’s out..... If anyone knows where to buy some eggs, that’d be awesome.
I do have splash Orpingtons though. What would I need mate-wise to “create” one?

If you breed GL blue x GL splash the laces will be visible because the black diluition gene influences only the black/blue parts of the feathers. In mottled you don't see the mottling when the bird is splash because the mottles are white; but since in the Gold Laced the center of the feathers are gold, they will not be influenced by the genes and will be visible.
