Granny's gone and done it again

Awful quiet here tonight. Granny, hope you are okay. Ditto, everybody else that usually hangs out here. I know Larry said he had family this week so not to look for him till the weekend. I had PT this morning and doing pretty well. Got outside, gathered eggs, cleaned poop trays. Hurt a bit afterward, but not bad. PT again tomorrow, basically an eval. Anyway, good night to all our friendly lurkers.
I'm doing okay, spent the day prepping for the coop. I am dog tired!

Howdys, Im fine. Rough time with Tom today. He looked for a charger in his room for hours. He is upset over me having those tests done and him needing to go into respite.
He probably fears you may leave him there. As caretakers, we think if the difficult times.

But those who need care, fear the day their loved ones may not care for them . I know that because my man told me so.... Did you try reassuring him? I know reassuring words don't always help

I did and that is exactly the problem. He is very stressed and its rubbing off on me. I've tried everything. The last option I have is his insurance care case manager. She is trying to find someone that would come in for the day. I have been turned down by everyone I know. I even asked Nancy to bring him with us and she said it would be too much on her.

Good Morning Granny Land. We were all in out of the heat. DIL and I got the ground cover down where the collards are going in. I'll burn out the hole for the plants once the wind dies down this evening and we will get them planted tomorrow I hope. It's a sunny 82° out there now and that is hot. We will not be back out until it's time to turn the kids out for treats. We try to fill them up on bread from the discount bread store so they are more inclined to dust bathe than to look for a poisonous weed. I need to find all the black nightshade and poke weeds and get them pulled up and put were they can't get to them. Once dried I'll burn them to destroy all seed and dried leaves to be sure they are gone. Need a rabbit fence to keep the rascal out of the greens patch. Don't want to shoot it. Any hoot I'm going to eat a bite and snooze in my chair for a couple of hours.
