For their size. They are heavy birds. I want to cross them with Dark Cornish as some White Rock hen and see how those crosses are for freezer camp chickens.

Saipans and Brahmas are about the same weight. With some hybrid vigor from the cross they may grow off quicker that either parent. Need a nap bad. It's 102° outside. BBL

I remember loving my RIR's. I had a "pure" RIR chick, that a feral cat made a snack out of. I was so mad. It was a good sized chick by then too. Looking good.

Gotta get up early to let my two puppies (cavalier) out. Once they start squirming, I don't trust Butchy Boy to hold it. Since he started doing the big boy stance, he will dump his bladder in my shoes if I wait too long. So I let them out and make sure the gates are locked and I flop back in bed. Coolest time of day to play

why did you change from murry to cackle?
