I heard a tornado but thankfully it missed me. More severe storms on the way though. The hail was rough. Be careful everyone.

No hail here but ALOT of thunder and really heavy rain...some tornado activity in surrounding citites...In fact I heard that Sanford might have some...stay safe Laura!!

Its really bad here in SC. Tornadoes everywhere and lots of hail. Right now there is just light rain here, but I can hear more thunder coming and the news is saying its going to last awhile.

Glad my new chickies are in the barn. If anyone else is expecting this system to come there way secure your critters. There is lots of hail.

Thanks Darlene, it got really scary around here tiill about 7:30 and then the rain and thunder and lightning slacked off and we went out to dinner.

The weather that is happening in the southeast is CRAZY!! And it looks like more may be headed that way later this week, so stay hunkered down if you live there. I'll be thinking of you!

The worst we get is 40-50 mph winds sometimes, though a microburst a few years ago took down some trees and overturned some sheds & empty mobile homes.
