Technically we had a couple of birthdays yesterday but today is our Gotcha Day!
Chuck and Buck turned two! And what a fun two years it's been with these boys (and you all). Love to be able to share our fun adventures with you seeing as you all "get it." My non duck friends just don't.
Here is a picture of our homecoming two years ago, almost to the hour!
And a quick update on the crocheted duck! He was all wrapped under the tree and about a week ago my dog ran inside for bedtime and immediately peed on the present! I rushed to get the box and unwrap it before it soaked through (which is didnt) but didn't have any other boxes on hand so I ended up giving it to my son early. He LOVES it. A day or so later, while making poof ball beanies, my husband, being the smartbutt he is, told me to make a mini duck and instead of a poof ball for a beanie, use the mini duck.
Challenge accepted. I added a little something to the top to make it a bit more stable. It's either a nest or bubbles.... either one works!
