Help! Duckling with a bad leg

So new development. As we have gotten to know this duckling a little better, (he is currently in my living room separated from the others) it seems that he may have much more complex issues. He has always looked a little crooked while he is laying or walking around and I attributed this to his leg deformity. As I was holding him tonight while we were getting things situated for him in his tote I had my hands lower on his body than where I usually hold on and it seems that he may have a pretty bad case of scoliosis, thats the only way I can think of to describe it. I tried to show the curvature of the spine that I think I am feeling in the second picture. He is breathing heavily on and off now. I'm afraid we are going to lose him.

That appears to be a bit of a deformity in the spine...Possibly too many discs...?....Poor Ducky...

I feel bad for him but he seems to be ok... eating and drinking he has trouble getting around but I think that is mostly due to his bad leg...

Just keep doing as you are...I have a special needs Duckling too.. All we can do is care for them.....

So sorry. Scoliosis can happen in ducks. Can you post a video of him walking?
