Hi everyone my goose eggs are on day 25 tomorrow will be 26. When should I put into lockdown and raise humidity ? 2 eggs look a little more developed than the first one so I’m not sure if I should keep rotating for another day or 2 then go into lockdown.(Note: they all went into incubator at the same time) Please let me know what I need to do at this point since I am super close to hatching day. Thank you !!

Its ok to stop turning on day 25 the most important time for turning is day 1-20 so the embryo dose not stick and with goose eggs because there so big to help release CO2 that collects in the egg and extra heat that builds in the bottom of the eggs. (mine hatch on day 31 there heavyweights, I don't raise my humidity till I candle them and see the air cell dip then I usually wait another day. The breed of your geese will make a difference on days. lightweight geese actually can hatch on day 28 medium breeds 29-30 heavyweights 31-35 days.

so adjust appropriate to your breed.
with mine
for first 3 and 4 days weeks turn 95.5 degrees 45% humidity
day 24 stop turning put in hatcher lower the temperature to 99 degrees humidity 55%

candle daily to watch for the dip and turn in air cell. then the first one to wiggle its at the bottom of the air cell

Then raise the humidity to 75% usually day 29
