Hello I currently have 10 button quail in which, 5 are male and only 3 are female and 2 that I don't know what gender they are yet. Does anyone know what I can do with the extra males beside giving them away?
Can i have more than one male in each cage?

If you don't wanna cull or give them away you could make a bachelor-group. Males usually get along great as long as they can't see or hear any females.

Yes I have though of that as well, but I keep all my button quail in one shed so they would hear my females

Button quail do well in pairs. They don't have to be male/female pairs, so you could pair off your males and they'll be okay. You could probably even get away with a bachelor pen with all of your extra boys. Buttons aren't nearly as aggressive as coturnix.

While they do fine in pairs, I prefer to have more females than males. I currently have three males and three females and sometimes all three males try to mate the same female at once

Sounds like they all want her as their mate. Buttons will usually settle down with a single hen, but that doesn't mean that they're completely monogamous, especially when they're young.

Can I do that even if they can hear the females?
