I agree with @aart looks like she has a pretty full crop, could be pendulous. Was it completely empty this morning before she has anything to eat/drink?Here are photos of her droppings, her today, her feed and the grit/shells I provide her with. She is highly energetic and noisy, I haven't seen her to be lethargic or bothered in any way. It's only straight after giving her the feed that she looks uncomfortable for a few minutes.
Just to reply to your earlier post I am in NZ. ALSO UPDATE!! I just checked her crop this morning and it was ABSOLUTELY EMPTY, do you think she could still have pendulous crop?? I have separate and mixed oyster shell and grit as the commercial feed I get has already added grit to it, so I just supply additionally. Also just found while I was checking the chooks crops this morning (thought I'd check them all) my elderly brown shaver has sour crop AGAIN, she has had it a few times. She has multiple other issues such as laying lash eggs that she has managed to pull through with some antibiotics. However, I have just separated her and will be treating her again through her sour cropI agree with @aart looks like she has a pretty full crop, could be pendulous. Both articles in Post#8 address Pendulous crop plus show images of crop bras that may be useful in getting the crop to empty. Sometimes a crop will go back to normal after use of a bra, other times it's stretched out and the hen may need to wear one from now on - you will have to monitor her to see what she needs. Pendulous crops can become boggy, sour and if not tended to could lead to fungal or yeast infection in the crop and throughout the digestive system.
She's lovely. It's good that she's energetic so you may have caught this early and all you need to do is treat her crop.
I also would not mix oyster shell and poultry grit with the feed. Provide each one separately free choice. Your hens will pick up what they need.

If her crop was empty, then I would just check it for a few days. The gasping may be from respiratory illness or something else - any fluid in the belly?Just to reply to your earlier post I am in NZ. Not sure about fluid in the belly, I will have to check tomorrow. I tried adding water to soak the feed this morning and she seemed to be fine eating that but later in the afternoon I gave her the feed without soaking and she began choking/gasping again. For a few minutes later there was a strange deep sound coming from her, almost as if she was burping. I think you may be right about it being a respiratory illness. Will try to get her to a vet, although since I am in an urban area it is difficult to find a vet that knows much more than a google search about chickens! Thank you so much for all the help though!!If her crop was empty, then I would just check it for a few days. The gasping may be from respiratory illness or something else - any fluid in the belly?
I'm sorry to hear about the Brown Shaver. Hopefully you will be able to resolve her sour crop yet again.
