Poor Hunnicut, I'm sorry we lost her.

Poor sweet Hunnicutt! I wonder if maybe she broke the yolk when she pipped internally. When I think about all that can go wrong when hatching out, it always makes me realize what a miracle it is when things go perfectly right and the chicks are able to hatch out fine!! We will miss you Hunnicutt. So grateful for her 6 healthy brothers and sisters!!!

Yeah, that is what it looks like happened because the shell was full of liquid yolk. And I know I didn't puncture it because I went in through the air cell. Poor baby girl! But she is running around with her mama in chicken heaven. Maybe Tilly wanted to keep one for herself!
