You're welcome. For 6 chickens, look for a coop with an interior that is at least 24sqft. i.e. 4' x 6', 5' x 5' ish, etc.Thanks
Hmmmm.... Well, thanks for the information, if you have any spare time, I'd love if you could go find a coop for my chickens, if not, that is also fine![]()
Thank you so much for the information though!!

Thank you for sharing, I'll consider making my own coop because 1st off, it's cheaper, and second off, I can make it as big as I want.General guideline is 4 sq ft of coop space per bird and at least 10 sq ft of run per bird. Some breeds, and individuals, will need more or less. Also need to consider weather. The bay area does get some pretty decent wind and a lot of rain in the winter months, so you need to have a coop that is big enough for them to be in for a few days at a time. A covered run would be a big plus.
2 chickens. Not one more.I'm here in the SF Bay, where we don't get snow often at all. The last time I have had snow here was around 13 years ago???
Here is the chicken coop I have, I'd thank you some much if you'd research how many chickens could fit in this?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008E15UZ...t=&hvlocphy=9031984&hvtargid=pla-275681477031
