How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 7. But that is 2 more than I got yesterday...

That sounds a lot like our property. 15 acres, highway on the south edge, 3 neighbors with tiny yards line the west, pasture to the north and a hay field between our land and the next neighbor on the east, but our house is in the corner less than 50 feet from the highway and only 20 feet from the neighbor's yard .

We're up to 5 layers now and have been getting between 2 and 5 eggs per day. 4 today. I love the variety in the brown shades alone and can't wait for my EE's to join the party. It makes me happy seeing all the different egg pictures you guys post here!

Turns out SO built it there for access to the barn for feed storage and water/electric if needed. But more importantly, the subdivision didnt exist when he built it and the county promised it couldnt he used for a subdivision. LOL instead someone got the property rezoned and crammed a bunch of houses on it with a 'communal area' somewhere to make up for the too-small lots. Pffft.

9 eggs today! I think the whitish egg to the left of the speckled egg was laid by my girl that laid the shell less eggs...best guess, still not exactly sure which one !

You always have lots of yummy eggs. How big is your flock if you don’t mind my asking? I have 10 pullets laying, 2 Roos , and 6 two month old pullets and let me tell you my hands are full lol.
