My Three Chicks
Crowing
I brought home a 1-month old yesterday to add to my flock of three 5.5-week olds.
The new chicky (an Owlbeard) is so small. Like half the size of my other girls if that. She's eating and drinking well. And moves around fine but not particularly active. But she stands hunched like this. A little puffy.
I noticed a little red in a couple of poos. May get a fecal test done just in case.
I am giving her vitamin/electrolyte water.
She has only known as brooder in a storage shed so she's probably a little overwhelmed too.
Any thoughts? Is standing like that a sign of something more?
