i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

Do y'all remember office pools during football season? How many additional chickens do you think pollipaza will end up getting within the year? LOL! Definitely going to add to the flock. This BYC member already loves those funny chickens.

Oh yes, @pollipazzi has it bad, but she hasn’t yet admitted to doing something unusual for us chicken nuts.
Objectively she needs more chickens. They hate being alone and with only two there is a risk because one might die. So she needs another one.
But you can’t introduce a solo chick or chicken, so that means two.
But to play safe it should really be three because two is always risky.
So, adding three is a priority. A flock of five is lovely (it is what I have myself right now), but really 8 would be more fun………

Protect one plant with a chicken wire cage. People mistakenly relieve chicken wire is for protecting chickens.
Nonsense - it is useless for that. It is for protecting plants from chickens. It does quite well at that.

Hang a planter from the ceiling. It'll be good exercise for them! Oh, they'll still eat the tomatoes; it'll just take them longer. And who knows? Maybe you'll be able to get one or two for yourselves along the way.

omg. i read that and it’s funny! but i am so confused! i am so bad at regular math (3 summers in a row summer school! lol!) and now i know i am bad at chicken math too!

so do i have one whole chicken or none?
