Don't we still have those???I'm so old I remember when we had RC planes.
Yes. I took a photo of a scale model of AF1 some years back in flight. A grumpy old soul saw it and went into a cursing tirade about who ever was the president at that time. Must have been a really good job of detailing the plane.Don't we still have those???![]()
I learned on a manual transmission myself. I avoided automatics like the plague. But when I got into my 60's I thought that perhaps my reflexes were not as fast and finally got an automatic. But I am a 2 footed driver, using one foot for the brakes. The left foot lost its job. LOL
And the air vent on the floor. Hot summer day, 55-60 mph breeze on your feet... ah, bliss! Two things I do miss are the high beam switch on the floor and those small wing windows that funneled 50 MPH air conditioning.
They're still around.Don't we still have those???![]()
I thought you meant Roman Catholic at first…I'm so old I remember when we had RC planes.
A remote control plane is a thing of beauty, particularly if it’s a model of the old planes, and a drone - camera carrying or not - is far beneath it!They're still around.
Of course, I fly the next step up from them: a camera drone.
I remember when they had planes on a string with little fuel powered motors.I'm so old I remember when we had RC planes.
Can't forget the 5 cent punch out Balsa in cellophane, throw them hard and loop around and smack ya right in the face.I remember when they had planes on a string with little fuel powered motors.
You'd fire them up then hold the end of the string and let them fly around you in a circle.
Pity the fool sibling that walked into their line of flight.
