My one friend is not a dog person and her husband does not like big dogs. While I am moving all my animals are staying on her property and we were concerned about predators getting the chickens etc.... She let me bring my aged white GSD over to see how it went. .......... She now tells me every day how much they love that dog! She protects the animals but gives people there space when they come over if allowed in. She walks on one side of the kids to keep the geese etc.. from scaring them. She will chase back any goose threatening to bite, she will play chase the ball all day....... they just love her.
