She didn’t say anything about a fertile egg. She was gathering egg for the day. The calcium beads are in top of the shell not part of the shell. I do this all the time and I have never had an egg explode.I would not recommend it. Usually when that happens, it means the egg went bad and could even explode if you try to rub them off. That’s just been in my experience
Yeah I realized that earlier. I just meant when they’re fertile. Also someone talked about a tan rubbery lump that sometimes gets on incubating eggs.
