Is this chick's size normal? Potential dwarf?

She has the best of care, at least the best I can give with my minimal knowledge and the fantastic people on this site. She is timid and sleeps standing up, but is one month old so I must be doing something right I guess. I've tried separating her, but she doesn't do anything but chirp. She won't eat at all when she's alone. Any tips on how to keep my girl above ground?

I truly understand your situation because I raised 6 runts ..if u provide them great hygienic care plus feed and vitamins they act so good ..I gave my girls hard boiled egg in their growing period regularly ..in the morning

During their hard boiled egg diet I notice they act gud active and growing well their feather growth is become so fast and their comb n wattles become developing ..

I stop their hard boiled egg diet when their fully feathers and they have tails ..then I provide them corn with 1 drop of essential vitamins nd amino acids with DHA regularly ..

Its good for them..

I have the same question. I bought chicks from cackle and ordered EEs,polish, australorps, and black sexlinks. They gave us an extra one of each. I have a baby that was identical to the EEs until they reached 1 week old. They kept growing and she stopped. She is now 1 month old and is very timid. She sleeps standing up and will stop eating/drinking if another chick comes near her. The mystery behind her size and demeanor is driving me crazy. Any insight would be appreciated. Attatched is a pic of her next to a bsl of the same age
Exactly the same problem for me. But the only difference for me is that the little chick is very active. All you can do is feed the tiny chick lots of protein and hope for the best:fl
