Large neck wound

My Easter egger got attacked by 2 dogs and there’s a huge chunk of skin missing from her neck, I’ve never had to deal with wounds before and it being in the neck is so much worse. Below are some photos of how it looks. I probably need to clean it but there’s like a gap in the neck (circled in the 3rd pic and a bit deeper than it looks on photo) and I’m really scared of getting anything in it. I’ll be setting up a little space for her now and adding vitamins and electrolytes to the water and feeding her lots of protein but still not sure what to do about the wound itself though.

Ouch!
@Eggcessive and @Wyorp Rock may be able to help
Good luck!

I have the following 2 products I could apply but I’ve never used the first one because of all the warnings on it which concern me a bit though I’ve had some people recommend it before for various purposes and the second one has only been used on a rooster’s comb after fighting before which did help it heal very quickly.

If this was almost anywhere else I’d have already cleaned it covered it with some gauze but the neck is much more sensitive and I’m terrified of doing something wrong :(

How is she acting? Is she lethargic at all? Is she eating and drinking?

That wound doesn't look too too bad and she's lucky she survived!
It would be good to flush out the wound with Saline or Vetericyn if you have it. After you flush it, apply some triple antibiotic ointment. Make sure to keep the wound moist with the ointment. Its best not to cover wounds, so no need to do that.
I'm not sure about the sprays you have but since you used the second one and it was fine, you could probably use it.
Look her over everywhere else for any wounds.
Treat her for shock by keeping her in a warm quiet place, and giving electrolytes like you are doing.

Found her a bit before sunset and it’s currently nighttime so she hasn’t received anything to eat or drink yet but will first thing tomorrow morning, she’s acting quite well considering what she’s been through, moving around just fine and even perched on my leg for a while. We’ve decided to wait until tomorrow morning before touching the wound so it won’t be quite as raw anymore. veterycin is not available here but I can certainly do saline. Not sure if I’ll be able to get such an ointment since our pharmacy isn’t great but I’ll go see tomorrow. In case I don’t find one is there something else I can get for her?

That's a great sign she's moving around! If you can find any topical antibiotic ointment without pain killer that should work. If you can't find anything like that I would use the spray you have, the one you used on your rooster's comb. You can also use honey as it has good medicinal properties.

I would use the Terramycin wound spray after the wound is cleaned with saline, betadine or chlorhexidine.
Did just that this morning. I was away all day so my mom was keeping an eye on her and said she didn’t eat or drink much but except for the wound on her she looks perfectly fine. I prepared a comfy box for her but she seems to have preferred sitting in front of the brooder and when I got home she was scratching around in it and I think she can go back to the flock tomorrow. Turns out the situation seemed much worse than it actually is

With the wound being red and bloody, that will attack pecking from the other chickens. If you have a wire dog crate, you could place her with the other chickens, with her own food and water. Cover the top of the crate. I would use wound spray or the Terramycin, and Neosporin ointment is very good for wounds twice a day until it heals. Watch for any infection or abscess in the wound. Do you think a hawk or animal did this to her, or was she pecked by a rooster on the neck? Is there anything sharp such as fencing or a nail that she could have been injured?

It’s no longer bright red and pretty decently covered by the feathers that are left, the wound sprays both have dyes in them as well that help prevent pecking but I’ll be keeping a close eye on them anyway tomorrow and see how it goes.

It was certainly the 2 dogs my mom adopted. I’ve been working really hard on training them to be around chickens (I have very successfully done this with another dog of the same breed who loves my chickens and even breaks up fights between them) and went about 2 weeks with no issues or attempts from the dogs at chasing or harming my chickens with the one having no interest in them even but then something must’ve happened and my brother saw them chasing a chicken and came to get me. They ended up catching 2 of my Easter eggers who were roaming in the backyard, this one with the neck wound and another with no visible injuries or wounds. I will be keeping all my chickens in their enclosures full time for a while and spending more time on training the dogs until they can be trusted to not do this again :(
