Largest eggs breeds

Leghorns, and Sex-links in my experience lay the largest eggs.
Though be careful what you wish for. Chickens who lay large eggs are more susceptible to reproductive issues, and often live much shorter lives. I know a member who has 13 year old chickens on this forum, Sex-links often live to 5 years, and maybe a bit longer if they are cared for really well.
Laying large or an obtuse amount of eggs is hard on their body's, resulting in the above complications and problems.

Thank you @Weeg I have Leghorns and red layers (in Europe they are different breeds but still sex link hybrids which you can buy only from a hatchery). That's why I was looking for a breed that I could breed myself and have large eggs. I don't think we have Cornish in Europe, will check. I have been through several breeds and indeed nothing beats the Leghorns.

Out of all the breeds I have kept my largest egg layer was my Minorca, extra large white eggs that out did my Leghorn. brown egg layers other than sex-links I have kept that laid decent sized eggs were my Australorp, Sussex and Rhode Island Reds

Thank you @AusHen , I will see if I can find Minorca here. I had Sussex in the past - not impressed with egg size and quantity, so I removed them. Australorp - veeery slow growing is it worth having it? I had them in the past too. RIR - I have them, great breed, I cannot yet evaluation egg size. I have crossed them with red sex links and I have chicks, will see what happens.
