I am going to start with I am horrible at the color genetics and what breeds true.
I bought a pair of Brahmas that I was told was Lemon Pyle. I love the color and would like to have more of them.
Question #1 : When I incubate and hatch the eggs will I get Lemon Pyle chicks? Do they breed true or is it one of those deals where I could get splash, blue, etc.
Question #2: if I cross the Lemon Pyle Cock bird on Light Brahma pullets what will I end up with?
Thank you in advance!!!

Those look like Isabel Brahmas. Red Pyle should be White with red versus that straw color. The base color of those birds look like Lavender. @The Moonshiner is good with genetics as is @nicalandia and @Amer. @speckledhen has worked with Brahmas, but not that color. Perhaps she can provide some insight into what variety they are. @Overo Mare you're good with breeds and colors and @OneHappyRooster they have more Brahma varieties across the pond. Do either of you know what these are?

Thanks for mentioning me @ColtHandorf
They are isabels and will produce isabel chicks. They are handsome birds.
Bred with a light Brahma the cock will produce buff columbian pullets and golden cockerels. They will be sex linked.

Thank you! I knew they weren't Red Pyle. But I haven't fooled with Brahmas in an age. I just see them gaining in popularity so I'm acquainted with them.
