So some for you will like this and others will have something to say. But this little girl is so much happier and healthier. After I removed her abscess.

It's been 4 days and wow look at the difference.

Thank you all for the help.

Great!
What did you find inside?
What about the other bumps?

Believe it or not! The first yellow lump, had nothing under the top part.. that why is was so easy to romovecand hesledcfaster. The big less noticeable one I split and filled with betadine twice a day and it dryed out then just like a callus on your skin, I cut it away.
Really went well, because I was careful and slow, listened to her to make sure her sounds were not pain sounds. I was so worried about hurting her. But I didn't and she is perfect. Thanks

Hi all,
Hoping you can help I have a 4 week old with little hard lumps with a yellow top.
What are they help I'm very worried. She has the yellow one in the photos, her cheek has a big lump, one on her head, and a smaller one on her neck????

She seem happy eating and drinking and pooping fine. Free ranging and hanging with friends?
Oh I have had this on one of my chickens and she seemed to be fine! I'm sure it is nothing to worry about! ;)

Hi all,
I was talking to my neighbour and told her about how great Peewee Ali, is going after the removal of the abscess.
She said can you help me, my three year old hen has lump on her feet, she holds her foot off the ground which makes me think its sore, and is not kicking up dirt when free ranging anymore. It doesn't look like bumblefoot, but what did you think?

What does the bottom of the foot look like?

On feet, it's best to try to wash them really well, gently scrub with a soft brush to get all dirt/debris out of the nooks and crannies, then inspect. Sometimes you find only a very tiny spot.

On the feet, most of the time a swelling like that is caused by the Staphylococcus bacteria which enters the chicken's system through a cut, scratch, splinter, injury or an irritated area on the foot.

After cleaning it well, soak in epsom salts. Some people have success with soaking daily in Tricide Neo for 5-7minutes, 2x day.

Without finding a scab or "plug" surgery would be your last option on the feet.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks I'll let my neighbour know.
