Apologies, it is 5 weeks old and I first thought pullet , but have never had any chick as large as this one so I am thinking it could be a white giant pullet or I could be totally wrong.

It’s not a white giant. It’s most likely a mixed breed of rooster I had one mixed roo who looks similar to yours he had red all over his back similar to yours which is a tell tale sign of a rooster

This is why I was so unsure …to put things into perspective these 2 are the same age just different breed clearly. I know that all breeds are different, but this is the largest 5 week old chick I have ever had , male or female.
