Male or female?

I have 3 chickens who hatched on 9/6 but I don’t know their breeds or genders. Any help is much appreciated!

All are definitely cockerels. I think you have one black copper Marans, one Rhode Island red, and one Easter egger.

Looks like you have 3 boys. Cockerels.

They look like mixed breeds to me. Especially the 2nd and 3rd one. The 1st one pictured might be a Road Island Red.

My daughter gave me the eggs that I hatched and she thinks the one is an Ameraucana because it has that fluffy neck. If that’s true, do you still think that one is a rooster? I’m super bummed because I can’t keep a rooster (in town and neighbors will likely not be happy).

They're definitely cockerels. Those glossy feathers on the shoulders and saddle area only happen with males. Unfortunately, it's always a gamble with hatching eggs. I wish I had better news for you.

I agree all roos. RIR or RIR mix, easter egger and probably olive egger. marans have feathered legs.
