Enough people had posted positively here about their Leghorn strain (Missouri super egg machine) so I bookmarked their page for ordering next year. Now I am unable to access their homepage. Are they still in business? Or is the site just down for the off season?

Probably off for the season.

I had bought their EE bantams one year, got alot of blue weatons in that group. Lovely birds! All did well and thrived until they were sold to a friend.

Well, I found an email address for them that someone had posted a couple months ago. I sent them a message and I'll see if anyone replies.

The parents of a friend of mine have ordered from them for many years and they will be very dissapointed if they closed the hatchery. The birds they got were always good quality for a hatchery. I tried to look for their website, but seems that doesn't exist anymore. Even in off season their website was up and running, however they always stated the shipping was going to start on the spring. Try to locate them in facebook, I know they have a page there also. I read(don't remember where) the owner was an elderly lady and she was thinking in retiring or selling the business. The email address is: [email protected]. You can try the phone number (660)6473156. I called and the answering machine said their office hours are M-F 8am to 5pm, Sat 8am to 12. It also says we will be shipping chicks from February through October. It has more info about ordering their catalog, etc. I hope this help. Let us know if they answer.

I tried calling and got the same message, about the 2011 catalog and shipping chicks from Feb-Oct. I'll try again later to see if I can get a real person to see what's up. Of course they may be taking a much needed vacation during their down time.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Well, my email to them couldn't be delivered so I guess I'll just keep calling to see if I can reach a person.

Has anyone heard any definite news if they've gone out of business? Their website is still down and when I tried calling today I didn't even get the answering machine, or a person. I would expect someone to be there if they start shipping in February.
