Might be too soon

Hey there. I have a a little chick and I’m not sure the gender. He/she hatched on the 15th of July and is a speckled Sussex frizzle mix. (I’m so stoked about how this will look)
I just wanted to know if anyone could tell. But I feel like maybe too soon?

Yayyyyy! I thought so. But gosh the frizzles are so tough for me to tell

Yeah those crazy feathers are hard to track nothing screams roo at me for 4 weeks yet. Hopefully the comb stays nice and yellow for a few more weeks

I could see some Roo in it but for now I would guess Pullet.

It's sorta like a 25% roo 75% pullet because I am fairly new at gendering chicks, If the comb stays yellow then I would say pullet 100%

I seriously hope not a roo she JUST started to get a little red in the face. The mom has waddles as well. It’s more of a light pink. I have added a photo of a hatchling of hers that is totally a roo. Do you can see the comb difference
