MJ's little flock

Another short film that I did the music for this year has reached semi-finalist level in both the Rotterdam and Paris International Film Festivals. I'm hoping it will make it to finalist, because then that gives me another screen credit.
Hé, Rotterdam is in my country. Congrats so far and ...Good luck!
Did you post some of your work previously? If so I did miss it.
Could be that I read the post in bed with MDH beside me passed out til the next morning. I still wake up sometimes with a pain in my left arm (broken shoulder 3 month ago). I obviously don't want to wake him in the middle of the night to listen to music and my memory often lets me down the next day if Im reading at night.
It's extreme for Adelaide too.
Ooh yeah, I knew but forgot. I don't see the location on my mobile. And I usually use my iPhone to respond.
I sure do! I'm starting to burn out a bit. :th I don't have the resilience I used to in my 20s and 30s.
Don't burn! Is the thin ozon layer no longer a problem in Australia?
Recognise the resilience thing. That's why we rarely go to the south of Europe (Italy, Spain, South of France) anymore in our summer vacation. Partly because I don't like the high temps anymore. But also because most summers are getting hotter and more extreme over there with the climate change.

Since I'm on my computer I can share an old photo of Ini mini with 2 of her chicks (2015)

Thanks! I have posted multiple works over a number of different threads over the years, so I’m not surprised if you’ve missed them. I create film and game music, plus I like to draw graphite portraits, and I’m currently creating chicken pixel art for a little text-based game I’m making. @BY Bob has just switched his profile picture over to my picture of Phyllis, and I feel really honoured. ❤️

I’m sorry to hear that. :hugs

Yes, it’s still an issue. I’ll have to break out the sunscreen soon.

So sweet! :love

It really is a bit absurd how cute chicks are.
Those black chicks with white fluffy butts - it is like they evolved specifically to make me go awwww!
They're very sweet baby Australorps. The yellow ones are Sussex. All four would have been lovely little ones for Mary.

It's moving day for these kids. Hope they like their bigger house!

Wow. The yellow ones got huge! And some flying attempts. So cute.
They've doubled in size in a week! There's a ruler attached to the outside of the bird cage for checking their size.

From this, I assume they're thriving.

Just preparing a video of them in the new little coop. They take off from what I consider to be 'quite high up' and fly down to the next level, across at least 75cm.
