This was the chicks first foray down the ramp yesterday.

Today, there are sides to prevent a single chick getting separated from the pack.

One chick is a little flat today. It's pooping, eating and drinking. And flapping and running around. But when standing at rest, the tail is pointing down. I'll keep watching.

Today is even hotter than yesterday and for an hour or so, the chicks were obliged to lie down near one of their water dispensers for coolness. I've been changing the water every 20-30 minutes to ensure it's cool. Yesterday's learning about fresh cool water means they're taking good drinks every time I put fresh water down. Right now they're noodling about in their corner of the run, scratching, playing, etc.
