My chicken has GILLS

My hubbie noticed this spot on my chickens face beside her mouth on both sides I’m new at being a chicken mom I bought 2 of her kind and she’s the only one out of 13 hens with these gill looking things

Im thinking you are talking about the earlobes. Your chickens are white, but some are many different colors. And completely normal.

They look like big green worms or something why this one and not the one who looks the same

All chickens have earlobes, some have different colors, blue, purple, green, white, pink, red. Or a mix, depending upon genetics and breed.
My cockerel has white earlobes but the rest of my birds have red or pink.

I’m thinking that is what it is I googled it but I don’t understand why it is just her I purchased all 14 hens at tractor supply back in may they were a mix out of 3 bins I’ve got 1 rooster out of the 14 and he’s little all the other ones are big but I’m amazed at this it blows my mind chickens have ear lobes and only her not her twin oh my golly

All a matter of genetics, like yours. Hair color, skin color, height, hair color etc... Why does one child have blue eyes when the others have brown? This was my favorite part of 5th grade biology.
The chickens you bought her with probably arent related to her in reality.

your probably looking at the earlobes different chickens have different colerd ones it all depends on the breed common mistake if your new to chicken keeping its good that your paying attention to them

They are beautiful and I see they have ear lobes wow still amazed my lil ol’ rooster is half the size of my girls
