Hamburgs on the other hand went very poorly for all involved. Person who's farm I was using as he had many more out buildings got it in his head that it would be great to let my birds out and had both my breeding pens out free-rangeing and mingling for starters, and then picked off by predation shortly after. Another F-it until I get more available space.

I don't think I've been that kind of mad in a loooong time. I had two pullets I had brought home to watch grow out, and they bit it to the weasel. This year has been terrible. High hopes for next year though! I even lost all my flock pics, all the ones I have left are right here on this wonderful site!
