Neighbor mad about rooster...suggestions?

Just want to point out that nobody fights egg layer roosters. So the fact that PETA doesn't know that is rather telling.
Well we are talking about the people that once sent out a newsletter email detailing a horrific practice they had recently become aware of, in which sadist farmers have fun torturing mother cows by reaching in and wrapping a chain their unborn caves and yanking them out.

Just one random episode of Dr. Pol and they would have figured this one out….or maybe not.

Lemme guess: it only happened when the calf was stuck, and this was a way to deliver the calf instead of letting both the cow and the calf die. It would also be faster than calling the vet, and probably safer for the cow than doing a C-section. And I'll bet the farmers didn't "have fun" doing it, they probably said, "oh drat, another problem to fix."

Yup, or maybe not.

I have put roosters in sleepy boxes in the evenings or sometimes even earlier. I don't let them out till after nine am. One time I had a neighbor who had 8 roosters, I had 2 but I had all the noise blamed on me because they could see my coop.

I don't currently have crowing roosters and neighbors don't either, I do hatch chicks and try and rehome or freezer camp roosters before they get noisy.

Yeah, that’s ridiculous. I worked at a vet and that is what you do with stuck calves. How else you gonna get them out? Spend a million dollars on a C-section? (I’m exaggerating but you get the point) It is also extremely dangerous to put them under anesthesia

I don't hear people saying dogs should be banned within city limits.
They should be, for the dog's sakes. The majority of the dog population live out their lives in small apartments and/or kennels. They have no purpose other than emotional support for those who abuse them

Constant barking. Roaming and causing issues. City people drive to the state park I live next to and dump their dogs all the time. It's sad how many maddened, abandoned, starving dogs I've encountered. Entire packs of them even

Why does our society tolerate this completely pointless abuse? Dogs should only be owned by those who can allow them to live proper lives as dogs- out in the country

Not all dog breeds need a large yard. There are some breeds that do well in smaller living areas as long as they get a walk.

I can’t imagine something that time intensive, difficult, and smelly would be fun for anyone, plus there’s the added worry of potentially losing the mother or calf, wether it happens to be the possibility of losing a pet on a hobby farm or from economic loss if it’s a dairy or beef cow it’s still a lot of stress to contend with. It really just showed the massive disconnect from reality peta has.
