I got 11 new chicks in from a hatchery; 5 Sultans, 2 Porcelain D'Uccles Bantams, 2 Marans, and 2 Easter eggers. Easter eggers can be tricky because they are a mix but I am hoping someone has had one like this before. Can anyone show me what it will look like when it is an adult? As you can see, at only 3 days old it already has massive muffs and a beard! Really would like to know what it may end up looking like as an adult. You can't see it in the picture, but it does have a dark stripe down its back.

How pretty and fluffy! The heavy amount of rufous on its chest makes me think of Fayoumi chicks, so perhaps autosomal barred? But I am not great at identifying chick colors...

Let's see who else posts, and tell us how the chick turns out! I'm interested.

I have 2 just like that, The one in the picture is bearded, the other has a completely smooth looking face, no beard or muffs :) Weird, but I think they are sisters.

I took some new pictures, hopefully there traits will be easier to see.
Pictures 1, 2, and 3 are the bearded one, 4, and 5 are the beardless one.
I don't know if they really are sisters, I am just assuming.

Amer... any ideas on what this orange/black color pattern could be defined as? I'm thinking about playing with their colors since they're just EE's...and I do love their colors. I'm thinking since I have them I would love to breed more of them....would you think a black roo with leakage (supposedly from a blue line) or the silver birchen would go best for their colors? I do have a black roo without leakage (yes, they're brothers) who is beautiful, but he has crossbeak, so I obviously won't be breeding him :(

The second looks like gold transverse pencilled but the first isn’t really any recognizable pattern.
Silver birchen would be more conducive to patterns provided he is male, but all the daughters would be silver.
