Very curious how your chickens are doing in the winter. I've read this from the beginning, so I know you have done a lot to winter proof the coop. How are they now?

How did your chickens handle this last cold snap. I can't imagine how it was on them I know I didn't like it.

They seemed to be ok. Unfortunately we were away during the cold snap. Our daughter came home to watch over them and left them in their coop the whole time. We have a heat lamp so it kept them around -10C most of the time. She had to give them various treats like a cabbage and apples and warm oatmeal to keep them occupied. They seem fine with no frostbite. How did yours do?
