This week is exciting in many ways. The election and more exciting, the Ohio National Poultry Show. The Ohio National is one of the biggest shows in the US. Last year the APA held their 150th anniversary show at the Ohio National. There were 10,600 birds in the show! That doesn't include the thousands of sale birds. This show is so much fun and you get to see birds that you've only heard of in talking. This year there are going to be about 8,000 birds showing. A little less than last year, but still a ton of birds. I plan on doing a little more this year since I know the way the show works now. One thing I plan on doing is grilling out. Last year, the lunch options were not that good. I thought, what if I bring a grill? So this year I'm bringing a tent, grill, table, chairs. It's going to be like a tailgaet party lol. The parking lot is massive at this show, so I should have plenty of space to set up my tailgate party.
I'll keep y'all updated on how the show goes! I don't plan on winning anything at all since this is the show for the top breeders. But it's still a great time!
