Possible poisoning? Please help

Can wry neck happen suddenly? I don’t know much about it. She was completely symptomless the day before. We worried about poisoning because we found her lying next to the place he sprayed in the backyard, but that could just be a confusing coincidence. My husband sprayed concrete by the door, mostly.

I can give her those vitamins. I have also decided to stop the flushes and focus on hydration.

Still working on what kind of pesticide it was. Unfortunately it was from my husband’s dad, who is out of the country and hard to contact right now.
Yes, wry neck can happen suddenly, especially if it was a head injury. But it would be hard to know if she was exposed to a toxic chemical or it is wry neck. A toxic chemical can cause loss of balance, and other symptoms. It would be good to find the container, and know if it was weed killer, insecticide, fertilizer, etc. I would just treat for wry neck also, just to be safe. Wry neck chickens need to be separated and hand fed several times a day. Wet mushy chicken feed, cooked egg and water can be fed from a bowl and directing her beak into it.

Ok, good to know. I have no way of knowing if it was an injury, unfortunately. We just let her do her own thing when we are out there too, and we found her like that.

I’ll start the vitamins asap. She did eat the scrambled eggs I left for her and she even took some sips when I went to check on her just now.

It was probably Orson Home Defense. It was put in a bigger sprayer (irresponsible, I know. Lesson learned).

Make a brace for her? I can try that, I have paper towel rolls. And we will give the vitamins asap. My husband is getting them now
Yes! I thought mine had wry neck but turns out he it didn't! It was just an injury. ☺️ I really hope yours recovers!
@CCsGarden what dosage did you use for each vitamin respectively or did you use a preformulated complex like Durvet B Complex/RB Poultry Cell?
These are what I used
One capsule of each directly into the beak or on a spoon of yogurt. Any B complex or E should work.

She just got a dose of vitamin E and super B complex and did pretty well. She also got a good amount of water and took one but of her crumble mush. She seems stronger; at times she put up a fight to getting the medicine. Hopefully the water and vitamins help her.

Huge thank you to everyone who has helped me with my little Jadwiga. She’s very near and dear to our hearts.

Great that she seems stronger! Hopefully Jadwiga will be okay! ☺️
